Scholarship Application

Minnesota State Moorhead offers a variety of scholarships for eligible students. Complete one online scholarship application and you'll be matched with scholarship opportunities based on your academic achievements, major or minor, involvement, experiences and other eligibility criteria. New first-year undergraduate students are automatically considered for academic scholarships through the admission process and do not need to complete this application.

The annual application period is October 1 – February 1. Scholarship recipients are notified by June 1.

How Do I Apply for Moorhead Scholarships?

  1. New first-year undergraduate students are automatically considered for academic scholarships through the admission process and do not need to complete the scholarship application. All other eligible students should complete the scholarship application during the application period.
  2. Use the scholarship search page or review department and academic program pages to explore available scholarships.
  3. During the scholarship application period (October 1–February 1), log in to the using your StarID@go.minnstate.edu account and password with two-factor authentication.
  4. Complete the essay questions.
  5. Some scholarships may require supplemental application materials.
  6. Submit your online application by 11:59 p.m. on February 1.
